WAISCOAT FROM RECYCLED JEANS 

If there's one thing that gives me great satisfaction in sewing, it's creating a garment from a used one, as it stimulates the imagination and contributes a little to reducing the carbon footprint. I had a lot of fun with this waistcoat, I saw on instagram one with the front of a jean on the front and from that idea, I created my own.

First I unpicked the inside of the jean legs, I also unpicked the back pockets. With a basic waistcoat pattern, I cut the front of the waistcoat, previously I sewed the crotch one on top of the other about 4 cm. For the sides and back I used the legs of the jeans. Finally I sewed the back pockets  to the sides of the waistcoat.

Si hay algo que me causa una gran satisfacción en la costura, es crear una prenda a partir de otra usada, ya que fomenta la imaginación y se contribuye un poco a reducir la huella de carbono. Con este chaleco me he divertido mucho, ví en instagram uno con el frontal de un jean en el delantero y a partir de esa idea, he creado el mío.

En primer lugar descosí las perneras del jean por el interior, también descosí los bolsillos traseros. Con un patrón de chaleco básico, corté la parte central delante del chaleco, previamente cosí la entrepierna una sobre la otra unos 4 cm. Para los costadillos y espalda utilicé las perneras del jean. Finalmente le cosí los bolsillos del detrás del jean a los laterales del chaleco.

PANTALONES ORDESA - ORDESA PANTS

 ORDESA PANTS mi nuevo patrón en pdf, lo llevo gestando desde hace más de un año, está fue la primera versión, como veis el canesú delantero y trasero llevan una costura central, en la versión definitiva la he omitido para que resulte más fácil su confección, pero si tienes cierta experiencia en la costura, puedes añadirle un cm  en el centro de estás piezas y cortar dos de cada, en lugar de cortar uno doblado. Con este pequeño cambio podrías hacer como yo y utilizar un tejido de rayas cortado al bies.
