WAISCOAT FROM RECYCLED JEANS If there's one thing that gives me great satisfaction in sewing, it's creating a garment from a used one, as it stimulates the imagination and contributes a little to reducing the carbon footprint. I had a lot of fun with this waistcoat, I saw on instagram one with the front of a jean on the front and from that idea, I created my own. First I unpicked the inside of the jean legs, I also unpicked the back pockets. With a basic waistcoat pattern, I cut the front of the waistcoat, previously I sewed the crotch one on top of the other about 4 cm. For the sides and back I used the legs of the jeans. Finally I sewed the back pockets to the sides of the waistcoat.
